Identify financial goals and objectives for your meeting and monitor those against your strategic plans. 3. Utilize strategic financial analysis and budgeting, surveys and evaluations to measure ROI and meeting impact (is your meeting meant to make a profit, loss or breakeven?) 4. What it means to have a strategic risk management plan and what is included. 5. Identify the strategies behind greening your meeting and identify ways to integrate sustainability initiatives into your program. 6. Review how to follow through on strategic meeting project plans and ensuring they are tied back to event objectives. 7. Identifying the neccessary strategies to build a team of staff and volunteers and how to properly utilize them throughout your event. 8. Demonstrate how to develop your meeting and event content and align it with your program objectives and strategic direction. 9. Developing a strategic plan that includes needs assessment, implementation and measurement tools for all of your program components, including but not limited to; food & beverage, set-ups, speakers, content, design & decor, A/V, logistical action plans. 10. How to engage your stakeholders through a strategic marketing and communications plan.
